Yamaha JR1 Small Bodied Acoustic Guitar, Natural
The JR1 is a 3/4 sized acoustic guitar with a Spruce top and Meranti back and sides, built to the high quality standards we have come to expect and love from Yamaha. It has a 21 ¼" scale length.
Smaller guitars are a natural choice for younger players and starters, but our first impression of this instrument was that it felt like a "proper guitar" (Tom's words). Sometimes, smaller guitars that are aimed towards the entry-market are built to a price and feel cheap. The Yamaha JR1 feels like a quality instrument. It keeps its' tuning well, plays well right the way up the neck to the body and sounds sweet and warm. All of the guitars we receive into stock are checked over before despatch, and so you can be guaranteed that yours will feel and play the same!
